Description

Franco-Flemish book of hours written by at least two scribes, ca. 1450, in a gothic hand. The volume, in a later binding, contains fourteen large miniatures by at least two artists as well as many initials. The calendar is in Latin with some French as well. Several of the texts are incomplete. The coats of arms of the original owners, on f. 15r, on the page withthe Annunciation scene, have been defaced. Contains the bookplate of Henry Harris.
