Description

Manuscript on paper of a late fifteenth-century book of liturgical rituals, written in a single hand in Latin in a batarde script. The manuscript createn in Bohemia, possibly for use in Prague. Musical notation is similar to hufnagel. The texts include benedictions said or sung during the liturgical year from Epiphany to Easter, as well as a description of the rites of baptism, baptism of the sick, and last rites. The binding is ninteenth century. Pastedowns contain some of the same texts from an earlier version of the manuscript.
