The Karluk in Ice

The caption reads:

"The Karluk just before she sank, showing, supended below the bowsprit, the umiak or walrus hunting boat mentioned by Hadley. Last view of the Karluk before the sun disappeared. At that time, the vessel was in about latitude 74 degrees."
