"I wanted to enter a project that would test some of the skills that I've been lucky to learn during my work in Preservation and Book Arts. This book is a chapbook of two excerpts from Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities, a fictional work describing a conversation between Kublai Khan and Marco Polo. In these two selections, Polo describes cities that he has traveled through."
