Preservation Services

Preservation Services is responsible for preserving the entire Dartmouth College Library collection to make it accessible for current and future students, faculty, and scholars. This includes both preventive and responsive care, including the cost-effective processing of newly cataloged materials, conservation of damaged materials, preservation of intellectual content through reformatting and digitization, disaster recovery, and environmental control. The Book Arts Workshop and the Digital Production Unit are also part of Preservation Services.

Emergencies concerning Dartmouth College Library materials? Contact Barb Sagraves (603-646-2458) or Deborah Howe (603-646-0712).
