The Lynda.com tutorial library is now available across campus at: lynda.dartmouth.edu.
With over 57,000 videos available, this service offers comprehensive and up-to-date training in video, audio, photography, graphic design, web design, and other desktop applications. Access it from your dorm room, your office, or in Jones Media Center.

We offer digital media workshops for students, faculty and staff during each term. These sessions provide hands-on training in the use of digital media software and techniques. They are part of a multimedia education program that includes Quick Reference tutorials, online tutorials and consulting assistance.

Open Workshops for Faculty, Students and Staff

Workshops are held in the Jones Media Center Innovation Studio or Conference Room. Enrollment is limited, so please use the links below to sign up online. If you do not see a calendar of events please check back during the first week of the term for an updated schedule.

Custom Workshops for Your Group

Do you need to train a group to design posters, make videos, or produce other media for your campus department or organization? We can work with you to develop a custom workshop specifically for the type of projects that you are working on. Our staff can offer training in a variety of hardware such as video cameras, lighting, and audio recording, and software including iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Powerpoint and more.

Please contact us with a detailed description of your request and proposed dates for the session. We ask that you contact us a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to allow time for planning. Minimum group size is 4 participants.
