How to connect from
off-campus
The Jones Media Center provides individual stations for viewing videos in many formats. Videos on reserve must be watched in the media center. There are 20 viewing stations equipped with computers, VCRs and DVD players available on a walk-in basis. Each station is checked out for up to three hours and can accommodate 1 to 4 students.
A viewing room (Berry 276) is available for groups of 5 to 12 students. This room has video/data projector, VCR and DVD player. To use the viewing room, please submit a request at least 24 hours ahead of the requested time. In the request, include your name, class name, and the title of the film(s) you want to view. Please remember that there is a no food or drink policy in the media center, including the viewing room. Request the viewing room.
Jones Media Center maintains 17 digital editing stations with Macintosh computers. These workstations are equipped to import from both digital and analog sources and allow users to create, edit, and review digital media projects. All editing stations are signed out at the Media Services desk in Jones Media Center. Patrons may use an editing station for up to three hours at a time, with renewals allowed on a space-available basis.

The digital media labs in the Jones Center have equipment for digitizing and editing images, sound, and video. We offer a full range of media duplication, transfer, and conversion services for academic materials. Patrons can submit service requests to restore, preserve and archive recordings made on wire recorders and reel-to-reel, cassette and DAT decks.
