Teaching and Learning

Teaching & Learning advances the Libraries' role in Dartmouth’s educational mission through campus-wide partnerships that foster critical information literacy and lifelong learning. We sustain a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the Library through our comprehensive staff development programming.

Student Success

We foster partnerships throughout campus to support student engagement and success for students with a diverse range of needs. We raise campus-wide awareness of the Libraries' role in teaching and learning. Contact us to learn how we can support student success throughout campus.

Teaching

We lead library staff in planning, delivering, and assessing user-centered teaching. We coordinate library instruction for first year writing classes and partner with the peer tutoring center on research and composition support. Contact us to talk about partnering to support your students' academic success.

Staff Development

We develop ongoing programming to support librarians as co-educators in teaching and learning. We also lead a comprehensive program that supports the professional growth of all Libraries staff and fosters a culture of continuous learning. Contact us to partner on your staff development goals.

Exhibits

We feature the Library's connections to Dartmouth's scholarship, teaching, traditions, and community through an active exhibits program. We manage physical exhibit spaces and partner with other Libraries departments to host online exhibits curated by faculty, students, staff, and alumni. Contact us to discuss curating an exhibit to highlight your work and research.
