About Author/Title Searches

The Author/Title search option is no longer available in the Library Catalog. However, the Keyword Search page provides a faster and more effective way to search for items by author and title.

Using the Keyword Search option for Author/Title Searches

Enter the author and title information directly into the Keyword search box as in the examples below. Press the "return" key or click the "Submit" button to initiate the search. The catalog will display the most relevant items first. You can also sort your results by date or title.

Using the Author Search option with a Title Limit

1. Go to the Author Search option and enter the author's name, last name first. Click the "Submit" button.
2. When you are at the results page, click on the green Limit/Sort button above the search box.
3. On the Limit/Sort page, enter any words from the title into the Words in the Title limit box and click the "Submit" button.
   TIP: Your search will be faster if you use fewer, more distinctive words and avoid common articles or prepositions.
