How to connect from
off-campus
In April 2008 the library will be inviting faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, college staff and library staff to take the LibQUAL+ survey.
We last conducted the survey in 2004 -- this is the first time we will be able to compare Dartmouth results over time.
Responses from 2004 helped shape the following library developments:
LibQUAL+ is a suite of services that libraries use to solicit, track, understand, and act upon users' opinions of service quality. The survey measures the gaps between minimum expectations of service quality, perceived performance, and desired expectations of service quality. LibQUAL+ is offered to the library community through the Association of Research Libraries (ARL). The program's centerpiece is a rigorously tested Web-based survey that helps libraries assess and improve library services. The Web-based survey is what will be offered in April.
Invitations to take the LibQUAL+ 2008 survey are being sent to randomly selected members of the Dartmouth Community. If you did not receive an invitation, we value your opinion and want to hear from you too. An online form for comments is available here.
You will be hearing more about LibQUAL+ as April approaches. Watch this Web site for further developments.
