Cataloging and Metadata Services provides access to scholarly materials in the Dartmouth College Library collection to support research, teaching and scholarship in the Dartmouth College community and the international academic community.
Cataloging and Metadata Services is responsible for organizing, describing, and cataloging the Dartmouth College Library collection. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of the Dartmouth College Library Catalog, and for the development and implementation of policies and standards that govern the creation and maintenance of the metadata that describe the collection.
Cataloging and Metadata Services, along with Digital Library Technologies Group, Preservation Services, and Records Management reports to the Associate Librarian for Information Management.
