Photocopiers and Scanners

Photocopiers

Self-service photocopiers are available in both libraries, there is a small fee per exposure. The copiers are also network scanners that can be used to scan documents and send directly to an email address. The Biomedical Libraries also offer a photocopying service through our Document Delivery Services. Use of these machines must comply with the Dartmouth College Information Technology Policy, Dartmouth College Copyright Policy and Guidelines, other policies of the College, and all state and federal laws. instructions are posted and assistance is available from the information desks.

Location and Costs

  • Dana Biomedical Library at 37 Dewey Field Road: The public photocopier is located in the Cafe area. It is a GreenPrint multi-function device. Charges are the same as the GreenPrint system. For non-GreenPrint users copying is $0.10 per sheet using the Guest Account card available at the circulation desk.
  • Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library: The public photocopier is across from the information desk. Please ask for assistance with making copies at the library circulation desk.

Document Scanning

Photocopier Scanning

The photocopiers have the ability to scan a document or picture in black & white or color and send it to email without cost. A GreenPrint account or the Guest card is required only at Dana.

Flatbed Scanner

A flatbed color scanner station is located in the Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library. This workstation has scanning and image editing software, and basic scanning instructions are posted near the scanner. The computer is connected to the network and has USB ports to facilitate the transportation of scanned images. You must provide your own USB flash drive. The Library staff can only offer minimal assistance with the software on the scanning station.
