Live Well/Work Well, DHMC's new employee wellness initiative, offers resources and services to promote employee health, safety, and well-being. The Dartmouth Biomedical Libraries are committed to providing information that enhances research and scholarship, education, and patient-care. Together they joined forces at this Library Grand Rounds and offered a case-based presentation, with a special focus on three important components of a healthy lifestyle: nutrition, exercise, and sleep. The presentation highlighted information resources of special interest to clinicians whose patients are employees of DHMC and potential clients of Live Well/Work Well.
This Library Grand Rounds' speakers included members from the Live Well/Work Well team, including an introduction from Robert K. McLellan, MD, MPH, Medical Director, Live Well/Work Well; Marion Cate, MEd, CHES, Manager, Health Improvement Program, Live Well/Work Well; Adam Sorscher, MD, Staff Physician, Dartmouth Sleep Disorders Center; and Cindy Stewart, MLS, Associate Director/Health Sciences Library, Dartmouth Biomedical Libraries.
Library Grand Rounds are a forum for presenting information resources and tools of interest to Dartmouth clinicians. Please contact us biomedical.libraries.education@dartmouth.edu, if you have questions, comments, or suggestions for future Library Grand Rounds.
