Oxford Reference Online
A collection of dictionaries and other reference tools from Oxford University Press. Dictionaries of biology, ecology, plant sciences, zoology, nursing, medicine, psychology, and drugs are included. (Licensed for use at Dartmouth/DHMC only.)

Medterms.com
An encyclopedic dictionary of medical terms with over 9,000 entries. Entries include standard medical terms, pertinent scientific items, abbreviations, acronyms, jargon, institutions, projects, symptoms, syndromes, eponyms, and medical history.

Merriam Webster Medical Dictionary
An online version of Merriam Webster's medical dictionary with definitions and pronunciation guides.

Oxford English Dictionary
The OED Online contains the complete text of the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary, Second Edition, first published in 1989, together with its 3-volume Additions Series, published in 1993 (volumes 1 and 2) and 1997 (volume 3). (Licensed for use at Dartmouth/DHMC only.)

The American Heritage Dictionary
