Photography Exhibit at Dana Library

The Art at Dana program is displaying the work of Kathy Maiorano in the Quiet Reading Area at Dana Library. We welcome your visit to the exhibit and encourage you to invite others who might be interested in viewing the exhibit while it is residing at Dana Library. Our thanks to Owen McDowell for directing this challenging and worthwhile project at Dana.

About the Artist: Kathy Maiorano is a photographer and a co-owner of Artful Things Custom Framing and the Underground Gallery, in Lebanon, NH. She is essentially self taught but has had some formal training at Lebanon College and in private classes with a professional photographer. This is a transition into a "second" career for Kathy who is in healthcare and has been at DHMC since 1987. The driving force behind her photography is the need to capture a moment in time that evokes a memory, a feeling, sets a mood or tells a story.

Kathy has exhibited at The Stonewall Gallery in Grantham, DHMC through the Arts Program numerous times, The Underground Gallery in Lebanon , and has been contacted by Yosemite NP to carry her work. Kathy has also done Music CD cover work and has photographed for Kearsage and Upper Valley Life magazines. She resides in Grantham along with her partner and their dog Bode. All the exhibited works are Giclee prints on archival quality papers and are available for purchase either framed or unframed. All the pieces were printed and framed at Artful Things.
