Ramon Llull (1235-1316) was a Catalan mystic whose works were a cornerstone in the development of the Roman Catalan language and who influence Neoplatonic mysticism in Medieval and 17th Century Europe. He is known in the history of ideas as the creator of an "art of finding truth" which supported the Catholic religious philosophy.
