Welcome to the WWW pages for the Bryant Spanish Collection. This collection was developed at the Dartmouth College Library from the 1950s to the 1970s. It was underwritten by the William L. Bryant Foundation under the direction of William J. Bryant. The collection consists of a large number of rare monographs on Spain and Spanish culture.

A printed catalog listing the contents of the collection was published by the Dartmouth College Library in 1973. To look up specific items in the Bryant Spanish Collection as listed in the printed catalog, search the Dartmouth Library Catalog and use the "Call Number" Index. The final element of each printed entry is the "call number".

These web pages exhibit illustrations from some of the books in this unique collection. The "Subjects" page uses the headings assigned in the printed catalog to summarize the breadth of the collection and provides links to some samples.
