NEWSLETTER - FALL 2009
Hi, my name is Desiree Deschenie. I am from Farmington, NM. I received a Summer Arts Student Fellowship which supported student projects during the sophomore summer of 2009. With my project I hope to garner support for the the clothing reconstruction movement. I was inspired to start reconstructing clothing in high school and found a number of online forums creating crafts from old materials changing them into new functional creations.
I hope you enjoy my small, modest collection. I also encourage you to explore ways you can reuse items you no longer need into new functional items. Happy Crafting!
