Matthew Pearl is the author of two New York Times bestselling novels, The Dante Club (2003) and The Poe Shadow (2006). His work has been translated into more than thirty languages. He is also the editor of the Longfellow translation of Dante's Inferno and Murders in the Rue Morgue: The Dupin Tales by Edgar Allan Poe, both published by Modern Library. He has taught literature and creative writing at Harvard and Emerson College.
The Kreindler Conference Hall is located in the new Haldman Center which is on North Main Street next to Carson.
