Some of the purposes of the LDSSA are:
~To help all Latter-day Saint college students stay closely affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, succeed in their studies, and achieve a balanced life on campus.
~To correlate Church-related activities on campus under the direction of the appointed priesthood leaders
.~To motivate Latter-day Saint students to become a powerful influence for good on campus
~To provide Latter-day Saint students with meaningful activities consistent with the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The Latter-Day Saint Student Association at Dartmouth College is a student organization run by Dartmouth students.
