Welcome to the Ledyard Canoe Club!
Supporting flatwater and whitewater canoeing and kayaking since 1920.
Looking to get involved with Ledyard? Here's a list of good ways to do so:
- Council: Council is Ledyard's weekly meeting. Every Monday night at 9pm, we get together in the basement of Robinson Hall (map here) (during the summer months, these meetings are at the Ledyard Clubhouse instead) to discuss weekly business. Business includes trip reports, planning upcoming events, gear orders, etc.
- Feeds: Every Thursday at the clubhouse, Ledyard serves a dinner for the club. Feeds start at 6:30, and usually involve kayaking movies, trip reports, and- if the weather's nice- rolling/playboating in the Connecticut River in front of the club.
- Rolling Sessions: In the winter, Ledyard has time in the Dartmouth College pool to work on rolling and flatwater playboating practice. Until the weather warms up, this will be the best chance to get in a boat with us! Come by on Sundays from 9-10pm or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30-9:45 and start getting ready for the spring!
