HQ 76.3/New England News

Volume 4, No. 3
May, 1996

We'll be assembling on the lower steps of the old entrance of Boston Public Library (Dartmouth Street) between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. Look for our banner! Then, we'll proceed to the Copley Square location (as yet unknown) assigned to us by the Pride Committee. Of course, please feel free to join us en route, if you prefer. We are looking forward to a big turnout of stereotype-smashing librarians, library students, and library workers!

The traditional post-pride potluck will be held at the home of Alice Abraham, HQ76.3's treasurer (and gracious hostess). Contact Alice for information and/or directions, at: alice_abraham@wgbh.org.

T-Shirt Reminder

Also remember that HQ76.3 t-shirts are still available for $12 (sizes L and X-L). The shirts are white and display our logo with a pink triangle. You can order the t-shirts by contacting Alice as indicated above.

Annual Meeting Highlights

HQ76.3's Annual Meeting took place on April 27 at Alice Abraham's home, and at that time we congratulated Greg Rice on his election as one of the co-chairs. (The other co-chair position remains vacant.) PLEASE REMEMBER TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP by using the form enclosed.
