Classification

 

Warmth Index:

> 8.0 = Tropical (A)

4.0 - 8.0 = Sub-Tropical (B)

2.0 - 4.0 = Warm-Temperate (C)

1.0 - 2.0 = Cool-Temperate (D)

0.5 - 1.0 = Sub-Polar (E)

< 0.5 = Polar (F)

 

 

 

Moisture Index:

> 2.0 = Super-Humid (s)

1.0 - 2.0 = Humid (h)

0.5 - 1.0 = Sub-Humid (x)

0.25 - 0.5 = Semi-Arid (y)

< 0.25 = Arid (z)
