Non-immigrants who wish to apply for a New Hampshire State driver's license
should click on our driver's
license information page in the Visa & Immigration Info section of our
website to get a list of required documents for a state license application.
The State of New Hampshire requires the institutions sponsoring international
students and scholars to write a letter in support of any international
student, scholar, or employee's application for a driver's license. This letter
verifies the individual is residing in the state, and that he or she is in good
academic or non-immigrant standing. To receive this letter of support, please
go to the secure link listed below, fill out the form, and click "Submit"
at the bottom. We will e-mail you when your letter is ready for pickup at
the International Office, usually within two to three business days.
