Address changes for Non-U.S. citizens who **are not** in F or J
status:
Non-U.S. citizens present in the U.S. in any immigration status other than F-1
or J-1 students and scholars are required to report any change of address to
Citizenship & Immigration Services (CIS) within 10 days of moving. There
are two ways to do this:
1) file a change of address online: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=coa
2) File a change of address notice (AR-11 form) by mail. The form can be
downloaded here: hyperlink here to: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/ar-11.pdf.
**In addition, if sponsored by Dartmouth College, these internationals are
also required to notify the International Office at Dartmouth College by
submitting the form at the link below. **
Address changes for F-1 students and J-1 students or scholars:
F-1 or J-1 students **are not** required to file form AR-11 (unless they are
subject to "Special registration" procedures at the U.S. Port of Entry). Your
sponsoring school is responsible for submitting address changes to the
government on your behalf. F and J students and scholars therefore **must**
notify the International Office of any address changes within 10 days of moving
to the new address. Depending on whether or not you have student access to
BannerStudent, please use one of the following two methods for notifying us of
your change of address:
1) F-1 and J-1 students registered as students in the College BannerStudent
system **should not** use this weblink to change address, but rather should
enter the new residential address in BannerStudent. **Make certain to update
the Banner LOCAL RESIDENTIAL address, NOT the permanent address.** Each student
must enter the new address within 10 days of the change.
2) F-1 and J-1 students not registered in BannerStudent, and J-1 scholars,
professors and specialists should use the weblink below to submit their new
addresses to the International Office within 10 days of moving to the new
address
