After an initial presentation on the development of the New Testament Gospels, participants will be asked on succeeding weeks to read each of the four Gospels with an eye for the particular characteristics attributed to Jesus by the authors. There will be some lecturing each of the first five weeks with significant discussion expected. The closing session will provide participants an opportunity to report what difference such an examination may have made for them.
