This two-class course is for persons interested in writing an historical novel or for those just curious about how an historical novel gets written. In class one I will lecture on the research and writing process in the creation of an historical novel, and I will answers questions from the participants. In the second class, participants will discuss their own ideas for an historical novel. Before the class, participants should read my novel, The Old American, published by University Press of New England.
Class limit is 12 participants.
