History of New Hampshire

Study group members will be given a list of approximately twenty topics in New Hampshire history and will vote for the ones they want covered, two different topics each session. The format will be a mixture of lecture and discussion. No required reading although two general books on New Hampshire history, New Hampshire: Crosscurrents and The Granite State, will be available at The Dartmouth Bookstore.

Class is limited to 40 participants.

Jere Daniell is a specialist in early American and New England history and has written and spoken extensively about the development of the Upper Valley and the colonial days in New Hampshire and Vermont.
