Who Puts Medical Ethics in Medical Ethics

Brita Reed

Mondays 9:30 - 11:30 AM

March 21 through April 25, 2005

DOC House

Remember all the hoopla over Louise Brown, the world's first test-tube baby in 1978? How do you feel about cloning humans? What's your opinion: Is Jack Kevorkian a saint or a sinner? Do you know why George W. Bush is so passionate about limiting stem cell research? In six classes, we will explore these and other contemporary medical issues and their ethical implications. Our goal will be the exchange of ideas and the enjoyment of lively discussion.

Class is limited to 12 members.
