In four sessions, using an informal lecture format, we will examine the major European architectural styles, particularly as they developed in the Rhein-Danube areas. While the cities to be visited by the Study-Travel group will receive special emphasis, the scope of the illustrations and discussion will be broad enough to be useful as an overview of European architecture in general. A brief textbook will be recommended for ancillary reading and future use.
Participants going to Holland/Hungary in May 2005 will have precedence.
