Looking At Sculpture: Regional And Beyond

The three presenters will offer viewpoints from their particular areas of interest in sculpture. Carol Driscoll, Director of Vermont Carving Studio and Sculpture Center which is located in the old quarry region of West Rutland, Vermont will discuss the work of the visiting artists, exhibitions of the last ten years and of her own work as a full time sculptor. Charlet Davenport will present A Look At Sculpture Fest and beyond... with presentations by regional sculptors (to be announced). There will also be a presenter who will discuss a view of the Dartmouth outdoor and sculpture collection and related material.

Class is limited to 20 participants.

Charlet Davenport is a painter, installation artist and ceramic sculptor and founder and curator of Sculpture Fest an annual outdoor sculpture exhibition in Woodstock, VT. She has served on the Board of the Vermont Council on the Arts, The Johnson Studio Center and is a reviewer of regional art exhibitions (NH, VT) for Art New England.
