This course will introduce students to the sounds and structure of German with the emphasis on developing speech patterns and basic vocabulary. The class will be limited to a small number in order to facilitate extensive oral practice.
Class is limited to 10 participants.
A. John P. Chivers taught German at Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts from 1960-2000. He has traveled and studied extensively in Germany and Austria.
