This course will include in-class discussions of the craft, short writing exercises and voluntary submissions of pieces to be read and discussed. All levels welcome. Suggested reading: The Art Of Fiction, John Gardner, Vintage (paperback) and Writing Fiction, Janet Burroway, Little Brown (paperback).
Class is limited to 12 participants.
Don Metz, architect and author, has lived in the Upper Valley since 1968. He has published two novels, three books on architecture, a screenplay, and various magazine articles. He has taught fiction courses at UNH, Cooper Union, and ILEAD.
