From luxurious $10,000 a week per couple cruises to the Drive-it-Yourself $1,500 per week "Bumper Boat" variety, the Penfields will share the "how to's" of cruising Europe's waterways. Ireland to Norway, France, Russia to the Black Sea and all points between will be put on the table from their twenty two years of "Crisis Cruising"! Europe grew with travel on its rivers augmented from the 17th century onward by thousands of miles of canals. There is no better way to feel and see each areas culture and to enjoy its people, whether or not you speak the language. The Penfields will share ways to get the most out of a charter cruise or encourage you to buy your own boat.
Class is limited to 20 participants.
Abbie and Don Penfield came to Dartmouth and Lyme 39 years ago. They have been active in several businesses, including his stint as Associate Dean at the college in the 70's. They are part of a large landlocked group of sailors in the Upper Valley.
