Located across the street from Alumni Gym
at 11 East Wheelock, the brothers of Chi Heorot Fraternity like to think
of our house as not only a social mecca, but also as a very welcoming
place for all Dartmouth students. With brothers hailing from all over
the country and many from north of the border, Heorot brothers have been
known to grace a vast array of sporting fields extending from skiing,
hockey, basketball and football, to track, cross country, crew, tennis
and lacrosse.
Well known for our annual Octogafest and Kountry Kwencher parties, we
also like to think of ourselves as host to many other eventful gatherings
such as student/faculty get togethers, poetry readings, student discussions,
and community service events.
Heorot brothers, while known for our excellence on the fields of competition
also excel in service to the community. All brothers normally contribute
above the necessary number of hours and it is something we all take seriously.
This shows itself in the initiative our house takes year after year in
coming up with new ways to help the community and to do something positive.
So, if you haven't yet stopped by Heorot and might have some interest
in a fun and motivated house, come on over. Even more importantly, if
you and a group of your friends aren't sure where to rush, consider us
on rush night and see what were all about.
