The Boom Boom Lodge carries over a hundred
years of tradition to the hills of Hanover. Alumni of Theta Delt include
Nelso Rockefeller, Robert Frost, and the infamouse Rardano. Traditions
from the past century help keep the Dartmouth way of life sacred to those
who still cherish it. Although we have a membership of over 85 brothers,
each one carries a voice that adds to the eclectic personality that distinguishes
Theta Delt from the rest of the Dartmouth Greek community. The overall
personality of the house could be described as ambitious yet laid back.
Theta Delt takes a great deal of pride in its leaders, which include captains
of athletic teams, heads of campus groups, and peopler that are just totally
sweet. The chicks dig us too. Almost all of the brothers participate on
athletic teams (lacrosse, basketball, football, rugby, water polo, squash,
skiing, tennis, crew, and golf) or in other campus organizations, but
we always find time to relax. Wednesday nights seem to be the most popular
nights at the Boom Boom Lodge, but on special occasions we find it necessary
to throw some real bashes, known to all as Gods & Goddesses, Louie
the Lobster, The Pig Roas, and Ben Heller's Wang Dang Doodle. Just like
our dogs, we love to play.
