Lecture by U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige
Secretary Paige's visit will recognize and honor Dartmouth's new vision for its Education Department, which involves a commitment to basic research in child development and its principled application both to education and to teacher training. 4:30pm., Filene Auditorium, Moore Hall; Secretary Paige's free public lecture will be followed by a reception. Storytime and Movie at the D.O.C. House
Kristina Garcia '04 and Norwich resident Judith Witters tell stories in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Movie to follow. Skating, cross-country skiing, and sledding offered outdoors. Stories and movie are geared toward children ages 4-10 and their families. Presented by Outdoor Programs and the Dartmouth Outing Club.
