Winner of the 2008 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize, this astonishingly powerful documentary follows aspiring rap artist Kimberly Rivers Roberts as she uses her new video camera to film herself and her Ninth Ward neighbors to document their harrowing retreat and rescue from Hurricane Katrina. The filmmakers then cover Roberts' return to New Orleans, the devastation of her neighborhood, and the appalling repeated failures of government.
