Stay for a minute, stay for an hour, stay all day! Coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and baked goods from Collis will be provided.

Quilting

Drop in to help make quilts for refugees around the world with the quilting group from Our Savior Lutheran Church and Student Center in Hanover. No skills or major time commitment needed: if you can tie a knot, you can help. Quilts will go to Lutheran World Relief, which works in more than 35 countries to help people grow food, improve health, strengthen communities, end conflict, build livelihoods, and recover from disasters. In 2007, Lutheran World Relief distributed 452,870 quilts to people in 23 countries.

Book Drive

Help sort and pack books for a book drive to benefit Claremont's Stevens High School, a participant in Dartmouth's SEAD program. Books or monetary gifts (please make check out to Dartmouth College) may be brought directly to the event; delivered ahead of time to Samantha Ivery, 211 Collis Center, or to Liz Agosto, 303 Collis Center, during working hours; or sent to HB 6217, Collis Center, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH 03755.
