Annually, the office of Institutional Diversity & Equity produces the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). The AAP is submitted to the President and Board of Trustees for approval and then is distributed to deans, vice presidents, and other interested parties.
The AAP is an analysis of Dartmouth's regular employee assignments by Faculty, Job Group, and Salary Structure. The plan details each of these areas by the sex and race of employees within assignments on a snap shot date (November 1) and transactions during the plan year (November 2 to November 1).
