Dartmouth College is pleased to announce its sponsorship and support for
Bike 2 Work Day, an annual event in the Upper Valley organized by the Upper
Valley Trails Alliance and Upper Valley Rideshare.
Along with many other Upper Valley community leaders, Dartmouth encourages
faculty, staff, and students to participate in biking or walking to work.
This year's event will be held on Friday, May 16th. To encourage
participation, we've arranged for the following "sweeteners:"
*A free breakfast catered by Dartmouth Dining Services to be held at the
Richard W. Black Community Center, 48 Lebanon Street (across from the Hanover
Co-op) from 7am to 9am.
*Free access to showers at Alumni Gym from 7am until 9am. We hope to make
arrangements for additional bike racks near the gym, too.
*Anyone who agrees to recruit 2-4 additional people to participate can
receive a card worth $15 at Dartmouth Dining, courtesy of the Office of
Community Relations. Contact Peter Glenshaw by phone at 646-4099 or via e-mail
at peter.glenshaw@dartmouth.edu for
more information.
More information about the day can be found at www.bike2work-day.com/
