When an Employee Leaves or Transfers

While our goal is that all employees will be successful in their assignment at Dartmouth College, employees may leave, voluntarily or otherwise, when their performance at the College no longer contributes effectively to the goals of the department or the College, or when the College no longer serves their own personal or professional developmental needs. An employee may often move on to another job at the College, or may choose to leave the College’s employment for other opportunities. In every case, our intent is to treat each employee with respect as they move on, regardless of the reason or their destination.
