Information regarding loans, adoption and infertility reimbursement, fitness reimbursement, smoking reimbursement, the Faculty Flexible Retirement Option, CBC minutes, and other resources for employees.
Dartmouth College offers no-interest loan programs to eligible faculty, salaried staff, and hourly paid staff.
When employees lose benefits eligibility, they may retain certain benefits under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconcilliation Act (COBRA). At Dartmouth, these benefits include Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, and Flexible Spending dollars. The benefits office will receive notification of your coverage loss either through your status change form or through weekly reports, and will notify Crosby Benefits of the change. Crosby Benefits will then send a packet to the address on file. You will then have 60 days from the date on the packet to decide if you wish to continue any of the above benefits through COBRA, at which time you will contact Crosby directly as per the instructions in the packet. Benefits will continue retro back to your original date of coverage loss. Below are the COBRA premium rates for 2014 and 2015.
