Ropes Course

The high ropes course is designed for small teams of participants to travel across cables and logs, working their way to the final zip line finish. The course is one of the best designed ropes courses in the country. The course requires participants to work in groups of four to eight people, who are outfitted with a helmet, climbing harness and safety straps. Participants must be at least 12 years old, should be ready for a challenge and should be comfortable working with and supporting others. It is important that everyone arrives on time. Groups will ascend the course on cargo nets to platforms where they will be advised by a staff member on how best to traverse the next section of the course.  The course is 10-25 feet above the ground.  All participants must go through a briefing and training on how to use the safety clips. Gear: participants must wear closed toed shoes and long trousers.

Cost is $15 per person and pre-registration is required.   Register now for this event.

Intramural Sports

For the spring season, we’ll be playing coed ice hockey, softball, and pick-up soccer. The hockey and softball seasons will begin in early April. These will be low-key teams. You can play in as many games as you want. Players of all ability levels are encouraged to join. If you are interested in playing, e-mail Rex Morey

Note: The Risk Management Office is requiring all employees to sign a waiver before participating on any After Hours intramural sports team. Please sign the waiver and bring it to the first game that you play. The Athletics Department requires all alumni to sign a separate waiver (available at the game from the head official). No employees or alumni will be able to play without signing
