Friday Night Horse Festival

Spend an hour at Dartmouth’s beautiful Riding Center at Morton Farm and watch a demonstration of what Morton Farm has to offer employees and their families. A folding chair may make this experience more comfortable. Light refreshments will be provided. Classic Risotto

Risotto—an Italian staple that takes time, patience and passion to get right—is a hearty mixture that can serve as a side dish or the main course. Learn a classic risotto recipe with two different flavor bases. Space is limited to 10 people; cost is $10 per person. Register Now!

French Dessert Making

Gardening The Organic Way

Mr. Leo Maurice has more than 50 years of organic gardening experience to share! Bring a brown bag lunch and learn organic methods from master gardener Mr. Leo Maurice from Barre, Vermont. This is an open forum at DHMC so you may come and go as needed. Partnered with DHMC HEP. For more information, e-mail Rachel Keyser.

Emergency Road Repairs

If you have a breakdown can you make a simple repair, such as fixing a flat tire? Join the bike technicians from Omer and Bob’s Sportshop for a two-hour clinic that will teach you how to prevent problems on your bike rides as well as quick fixes to get you home safely. This will be a hands-on clinic and space is limited. To register for this event, e-mail afterhours@hitchcock.org

Tricks and Treats!

Bow-wow! Want to teach your ol’ dog some new tricks? Join the Upper Valley Humane Society for a special canine demonstration of tricks and treats. Learn some fun and engaging games you can play with Fido at home that will give him a mental workout and strengthen your relationship. Afterward, meet the star of the show- a certified Canine Good Citizen- and mingle with other dog lovers. Light refreshments
 will be provided.
