After Hours, After Party
After the electrifying Omar Sosa Afreecanos Quartet performance, get your
groove on in Alumni Hall with a DJ, free hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar.
Entrance is free with a ticket for the show and $5 at the door without a ticket
for the show. Tickets are still available for the performance, visit
www.hop.dartmouth.edu to hear a sound sample or to purchase tickets. You must
be 21 years of age or older to attend the After Hours, After Party. ID is
required. This event is co-sponsored by the First Friday Networking

Sunday Brunch and Gospel Concert
Enjoy a delicious brunch at the Hanover Inn before heading over to the
concert by the Dartmouth Gospel Choir, directed by Walter Cunningham. This

A Taste of Chocolate and Artist Lecture
Join your friends and colleagues for an evening of art and chocolate at the
Hood Museum of Art! First, sample chocolates from the same regions of Africa as
many of the pieces in the exhibit; then view the Hood’s major new
exhibition—more than five years in the making—”Black Womanhood: Images, Icons,
and Ideologies of the African Body.” At 6pm, join renowned contemporary artist
Renée Cox for a talk about her work. Cox was born in Jamaica in 1960 and raised
in New York, where she became interested in fashion, photography and film. The
exhibition and chocolates will be available after the artist talk as well, so
make an evening of it. This event is co-sponsored by the First Friday
Networking Committee
