UPDATE Newsletter

Humanities Computing (HC) is a division of Humanities Resources. Humanities Computing provides computing assistance to faculty and staff in the Humanities division via telephone, e-mail, in offices and on a walk-in basis.

HC offers help for desktop and laptop hardware, Macintosh and Windows operating systems, and standard productivity applications. Supported hardware and software are listed on the Support Guidelines page.

In addition, HC provides development and support for special projects such as digitizing audio and video for language learning. These create our Digital Language Library, available on several fileservers and via the web. Other services include training in both group sessions and one-on-one, set up of new computers and instruction in its use.
