Following their sold-out performance in The Moore Theater, members of San Jose Taiko presented a beginner's Taiko Drumming Workshop for Dartmouth students and community members. The workshop included historical information about taiko and explained the company's four basic principles: Musical Technique, Kata (stance), Attitude, and Ki (energy). The dynamic session ended with all 20 participants learning a five-part taiko song.
