During their week-long residency, choreographer Reggie Wilson and his Fist & Heel Performance Group engaged with Dartmouth students during a lecture/demonstration and "stepping" dance lesson with residents of Cutter-Shabazz House, and through guest lectures in a Gender and Society course which examined issues of gender, sexuality and race in performance. The residency also included a contemporary dance master class and Community Shout! -- a rejuvenating, transformative sing-a-long exploring the important role of songs and storytelling in African, Caribbean and American South oral traditions.
