Bones Gate fraternity made an unusual addition to its activity schedule when members of the Maori
Dance Theatre of New Zealand danced in their first-floor meeting area in front of an audience packed
with students. The event provided an opportunity for a bizarre, but pleasant, culture clash, as the
dancers offered up their own traditions and learned about Dartmouth’s fraternity culture. Dartmouth
men had the chance to learn the traditional "haka" dance of the Maori warrior and at the end, all the
students joined the Maori dancers for a final song.
